In this project, the quality and apparent health of 40 cucumber samples from eleven major production areas of Isfahan, Varamin, Jiroft, Kahnuj, Bandar Abbas, Bijar, Hamedan, Karaj, Ahvaz, Takestan and Yazd were evaluated for two years in the Greenhouse and Environment Research Institute since 2019. Controlled tests were performed. The origin of production, fresh weight, percentage of dry matter, diameter, length, taste, uniformity, damage, texture stiffness, flaking, injury and waste were evaluated. In the evaluation of traits, the international standard of cucumber description was used. There was a significant difference between the samples. The largest number of samples were from Isfahan (16 samples) and Kohnuj (6 samples). The highest fresh fruit weight was observed in the vineyard sample (110.90 grams) and the highest dry weight was observed in the Hamedan sample (4.86%). Varamin sample had the highest fruit length (16.50 cm) and the lowest fruit diameter (2.28 cm). Bandar Abbas samples had maximum uniformity and Hamedan and Bijar samples had the most favorable quality in terms of aroma and taste. Hamadan samples had a completely firm texture and no plastification. Also, the samples of Varamin, Karaj, Bijar had minimal lesions and no visible damage, and the samples of Ahvaz and Takstan had lesions. In the samples of Isfahan, Bandar Abbas and Jiroft, slight damage was seen. Using the potential of the examined samples is suggested for planning the optimization of production or greenhouse conditions with the aim of increasing yield and improving quality.
