Abstract
The main development plan of countries is to provide sufficient food resources, and due to uncontrolled population growth, the problem of food shortage cannot be solved by traditional agricultural methods. Edible mushrooms are considered one of the most important food sources in the world. Therefore, the importance of cultivating edible mushrooms is becoming clearer day by day. Considering the fact that a hybrid between the oyster mushroom P. ostreatus var Florida. , P. eryngii, called H1, was previously obtained, this hybrid was backcrossed with the parent P. ostreatus var. Florida in the tissue culture laboratory of the Department of Horticultural Sciences at Tabriz University to eliminate some of the disadvantages and improve the quality of the H1 hybrid characteristics. Backcrossing, monokaryons of both genotypes were obtained by their spore design and placed 20 mm apart. Florida and H1 monokaryons grew together and formed a connecting clamp that gave rise to dikaryons, and 15 hybrids were obtained from the backcross. The FH711 genotype showed the fastest spore running time among the genotypes. The average number of days to the appearance of the first pin was shorter in FH153 and FH711 than in the parents, the Erynjii mushrooms and the other backcross progeny and had a short growth period. Among the backcross progenies, FH711 and FH153 also had a higher number of caps than the rest of the progeny. In terms of cap diameter, FH154 and FH711 had the highest values. Erynjii had the highest dry weight and fresh weight of edible.
