Elaeagnus with its scientific name (Elaeagnus angustifolia L) has many medicinal and industrial properties, including antioxidant properties. By neutralizing free radicals, they reduce the risk of developing cancers and cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Today, in order to reduce the side effects of synthetic antioxidants, much attention has been paid to natural antioxidants. In this research, which was conducted in Alborz province (altitude 1100-1900 meters), water, ethanol and methanol extracts of elder tree fruit were evaluated to check their antioxidant activity. The extracts were prepared by maceration method and the antioxidant activity was measured using the stable radical DPPH, and the IC50 was determined and the total phenol was measured using Folin Ciocaltio reagent and tannic acid standard curve, and the results were reported. The highest amount of total phenol in the ethanolic extract of Porkan genotype 1476.523±16.321 and its methanolic extract 1391.759±7.269 micrograms per dry extract and the lowest amount in the water extract of Tankaman genotype 316.51±12.032 micrograms per dry extract there was. In terms of antioxidant activity, the highest level of activity related to the ethanolic solvent of the Porkan genotype with 1.395±1.103 micrograms/ml and the Asara genotype with 2.751±1.395 micrograms/ml and the lowest activity level was found in the Tankaman genotype with Ethanol extract was 11.71±2.486 μg/ml. The results of this study showed that with the change of climatic and geographical conditions, the antioxidant activity of the genotypes would have a significant difference.
