Producing enough food to feed the growing world population is a big challenge that mankind has been facing for centuries. The vulnerability of agriculture to climate hazards and consequently its impact on food security and farmers' livelihood is obvious. The increase in the frequency of extreme weather events, including drought, cold waves, heat, storms, floods, hail and strong winds, has exposed agriculture to climate-related risks. In the current situation of noticeable climate changes and global warming, it is necessary to take advantage of the characteristics of micro-climates to manage all types of climatic stresses involved in the production of food products and improve product productivity to achieve sustainable food security. The use of micro-climate conditions helps to correct unfavorable conditions for plants and enables the development of proper crop performance and growth. In order to increase public awareness, this article deals with the impact of microclimate management on the effective components of agriculture.
